The term “Nap” in horse racing originates from a card game called Napoleon, often abbreviated to Nap. The game has existed in England for around 200 years and there are variations of it across Northern Europe. The game also inspired the expression “to go nap” which is still used in betting parlance.New customers only. 18+, BeGambleAware.org. Min deposit £10. Money back as bonus. There are still plenty of punters who like to follow individual tipsters and head straight for the horse racing nap of the day in the sports pages.Following the nap selection is certainly no guarantee of success but there are circumstances where it is worthy of extra attention. For example, It may be an important televised race day at Newmarket but your chosen tipster highlights a race on the all-weather at Lingfield Park for his nap. In this instance, the chances are that he has been following this horse closely and is confident that it has an excellent winning chance.
A tipster is unlikely to earn any rave reviews for tipping an odds-on favourite but winning sequences can generate interest. One newspaper in the 1970’s attempted the million pound bet, hoping to run up a sequence of winning horse racing naps of the day in an accumulator, usually odds-on. I believe they got to 11 or 12 consecutive winners before the bet folded. The term was adopted for newspaper columnists and tipsters to indicate their most favoured selections. The Nap selection is often used to determine the merits of various tipsters, such as in the original Sporting Life Naps Table. Journalists from a wide range of newspapers would provide a Nap with a league table carried over the entire flat or jumping season, based on a level stake.Newspaper tipsters of the past would write under a nom de plume like Templegate, Robin Goodfellow or Kettledrum. Although there was no great prize involved, the winner of the Sporting Life Naps table would earn a certain amount of kudos. It also provided a bit of friendly rivalry between the leading sporting publications of the day.
Although The Sporting Life only exists online these days, the naps table is currently enjoying something of a revival. Contributors vary across a wide range of publications from The Racing Post to The Morning Star. The table now provides winning percentages, number of favourites tipped, current sequence and level stakes profit or loss.Graham Rock was the last “Kettledrum” at the Sporting Chronicle before it closed in 1983. He went on to become the founding Editor of The Racing Post and appeared as a betting pundit on the BBC. He was also agent for champion flat jockey Michael Roberts.
One of the most recognisable faces at racecourses around the country, Dave left The City in the 1990s to become a full-time punter, chronicling his ups and downs in two books. He has now worked for 12 years for Racing TV in the betting ring and studio.Johnny is a Dublin-based journalist and tipster, who has been working in racing for nearly half of his life. He has worked compiling prices for Timeform and the Racing Post, and also wrote for the Irish Independent, while he is now freelancing for The Times in Ireland, RTE and Newstalk. Irish racing, Irish football and Gaelic games are his other passions.

First off, in any format or league size, I take a RB if I have a top-five pick (and I still have Ezekiel Elliott in the mix there). In a 1QB leagues with 10 or more teams, I want to draft one extra RB and WR than I need to start each week — and this is in addition to the FLEX, so in 2RB/2WR/FLEX leagues, I would want seven combined RBs and WRs.In a nutshell: The larger the league, the more I want to stock up at the scarce positions — running back and wide receiver. In 12-team leagues, I tend to have more of a balanced approach, but it’s rare for me to leave the first six rounds without at least two running backs. After the first 10 or so players at the position, there’s just so much uncertainty, and with demand at the position increasing, I feel more pressure to find starters.I take advantage of this at RB by loading up on RB in Rounds 3 on, specifically targeting high upside backups who can become a RB2 (or even RB1) in the event their starter gets injured. Think about it in this context: If Dalvin Cook misses time, Alexander Mattison would likely vault up to low-end RB2 for that week(s). If Adam Thielen is ruled out, Chad Beebe would see a bit of a boost, but wouldn’t vault into WR2/3 range. You don’t have this immediate spike into fantasy relevance at WR/TE like you do with RB.
People often mistake WR as a position you can pass on because it’s “deep,” but I happen to think it means the opposite and the state of the position remains pretty stable throughout the season.Eight-team leagues: The fewer the teams, the more valuable QB/TE become. The sharp drop-offs at these positions are even more critical to take advantage of earlier in the draft. At QB, you see it flatten out right around QB6-7, when there’s about a 20-point drop-off from there to QB20. There’s about a 45-point drop off from Patrick Mahomes (QB1) to QB6-7, so it makes sense to go out of your way to take advantage of that if possible. There’s less incentive to wait at QB in an eight-team league. The RB/WR position offer more depth as you don’t have to tap as deep into the player pool. The waiver wire is going to be stacked at RB/WR compared to deeper leagues, giving you more of a cushion. 14-team leagues: The more teams, the less valuable QB/TE become. The RB/WR positions have more of a premium to attack early and often because you’re not going to be able to rely on the waiver wire as much in-season. Most of the depth will be taken up so it’s critical to load up on them early and often. Taking a TE early has more of an opportunity cost baked in because that’s a couple extra RB/WR off the board before your next pick, negating the steep drop-off at the position a bit. QB is ideal to wait on in this size. That largely has to do with how tiers break down at RB and WR, so it can vary from season-to-season. But in 2019, there’s a large tier of RB2 types that extends to around the top 25. There’s also a large tier of WR3 types with WR2 upside in the WR25-40 range. In 14-team leagues, I have something of a bifurcated approach: I either attack the running back position in the early rounds and try to build a robust core at the position or I ignore it entirely for the first three to five rounds then take backs later in the draft who might become viable fantasy starters in the event of anti-fragile circumstances.
In smaller leagues (eight to 10 teams), I feel more comfortable waiting on running back and instead drafting wide receivers and a tight end in the early rounds. And I’m especially likely to wait at quarterback. In fact, I probably won’t take a quarterback till the last round in a small league. That logic doesn’t go away in any league size or scoring type, but here are some slight trends I notice for eight- to 14-team leagues:Beyond that, it comes down to starting lineup requirements.Chris Raybon, Matthew Freedman and Sean Koerner reveal how theirs change for leagues between eight and 14 teams.

Online Gambling: Is it Legal?
The legality of online gambling is ever-changing. But one thing is constant: it makes a lot of money. Online gambling industry makes an estimated $1 billion dollars annually. This is a huge business, and a lot of people have cashed in on it. But it has led to some ambiguous legal issues, as the legality of online gambling is constantly being challenged.
There are differences in the legality of making bets, taking bets, facilitating payments to casinos, and advertising on websites. And there are constantly new legal challenges. So here is a breakdown of the law on online gambling.
Legal Forms of Gambling.
There is no federal law against placing a wager online. So, you can legally place a bet online. However, a wager must not be placed on a site located in the United States. There is a small chance players might run afoul of state law, but there is little chance of prosecution. The only case cited where a person got into trouble with a state was in 2003. Jeffrey Trauman of North Dakota paid a $500 fine on over $100,000 of online sports bet winnings.
Sites that are set up outside of the United States are legal. Therefore, gambling on websites located in areas like Australia, the Caribbean, and Latin America is legal. Just be very clear that the site you are playing on is not based on U.S. soil.
Definitely Not Legal Forms of Gambling.
It is never legal to gamble on a website based in the United States. Also, if you are planning to operate an online gambling site, stay outside of the United States. You must also deal only with casino and poker wagers (not sports bets) from people in the US. And you cannot take bets over the phone from people in the United States.
Accepting online gambling advertising is also illegal. If you are a small publisher, you are less likely to be prosecuted, but why risk it? As of early 2009, only large and mid-size publishers had faced prosecution. In 2007, the three big search engines (Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft) each paid a fine for accepting online gambling ads, but did not face criminal charges. Other publishers, such as Esquire Magazine, have been warned by the government not to take online gambling advertising.
Facilitating the transfer of funds to online casinos is also a bad idea. As of 2006, it became illegal for American banks to process transactions originating from or directed toward any online gambling operator. Because of this, several sites then refused to take bets from American players. But as the law seems difficult to enforce, it has not turned the tide completely for American players.
Still Up In the Air.
Advertisers who promote sports books in magazines and on billboards may or may not face prosecution. So far, sports books have never been scrutinized for advertising online. And online casinos, poker rooms, and sports books have never been prosecuted for buying ads.
This model is up over $7,000 for $100 players on its top-rated NFL picks since its inception four years ago. It absolutely nailed its top-rated NFL picks in 2018-19, finishing the season on a sizzling 16-6 run. For the year, it went 30-15 on all top-rated picks (20-8 against the spread), extending its two-year run to a strong 78-49.Now, it's revealing the optimal Survivor Pool pick for Week 1 of the NFL regular season. It's not how much you win by in a Survivor Pool. Simply, it's about picking a winner and moving on. and sometimes saving the biggest favorite for a future week. The model ranked inside the Top 10 on NFLPickWatch for the third straight year on straight-up NFL picks and beat over 96 percent of CBS Sports office pool players. Anyone who has followed it is WAY UP.
The SportsLine Projection Model simulates the entire NFL season 10,000 times. That's helped it become an authority at the Survivor Pool format, which calls for picking one team to win each week, but never picking the same team twice. This week, we can tell you it's not going with the Seahawks, even though they're the second-biggest favorites of the week. The Bengals are 6-1 straight-up in their last seven games against NFC West opponents and beat the Seahawks in their last meeting. Seattle wins in 74 percent of simulations, but the model is saving the Seahawks for a future week. There's a better team worth backing in Week 1 that you're probably not considering. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before locking in any survivor picks.
Baltimore -7 vs. Buffalo: I am really interested in the Ravens here for my NFL Survivor Pool picks for Week 1. The Bills made the playoffs last season for the first time in forever, but this squad is back to a major rebuild. They are one of my contenders to have the worst record in the NFL this year. They traded their quarterback, who was more than decent for them, Tyrod Taylor. They lost a lot on the offensive line. They just traded QB AJ McCarron to the Raiders this morning, and now they are left with rookie Josh Allen – who seems like a long-term project – and journeyman Nathan Peterman. A starter for Week 1 hasn’t been named as of this writing, but if it is Allen then that makes this an even stronger pick. The Ravens should be hungry this year after barely missing the postseason in 2017 with a 9-7 record. Joe Flacco has looked good in the preseason, and he seems to have a fire lit under his butt after the drafting of his eventual successor, former Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson. The Ravens look like a very solid pick in Week 1.New England -6.5 vs. Houston: The Patriots have to slow down at some point. They lost a lot during the offseason and added some new parts. This is the way this team operates every season, and it always seems to work well. But that’s because they have one of the best-ever QB and coach combinations. Last season I put three of my Survivor Pool cards on the Patriots in Week 1 since the defending champ has dominated the Thursday night opener since its inception. They, of course, were upset by Kansas City at home on in Week 1. New England should be very good again this season, and they are in one of the worst divisions in the NFL so they are almost guaranteed to go to the playoffs. But Houston is healthy now and they have one of – if not the – most exciting young QBs in the league in Deshaun Watson. He was really setting the league on fire last year before his injury, and this team suffered fallen soldiers all across the roster with brutal injury luck. They come into the season generally healthy, and this team has a chance to be very good. I want no part of the Patriots in Week 1.Minnesota -6 vs. San Francisco: The Vikings should win this game. I would be very nervous, however, if I picked them in Week 1. Jimmy Garoppolo did nothing but win after being traded to the Niners from New England last season. This team should be much improved this season, and they could be a legit playoff contender. And who can forget at the start of the 2015 season when the Niners upset the Vikings in the season opener, knocking many out of NFL Survivor Pools in Week 1. I do think Minnesota will take care of business here, but I am probably too shaky on this matchup to take the favorite here.Detroit -6.5 vs. New York Jets: The Jets played well above expectations last season. They came into each game with a real blue-collar attitude and competed in the trenches. They will likely be starting a rookie QB this season in Sam Darnold, and that is going to provide some rough patches and possible ugly losses. But this team should play hard-nosed football in every game, and this is a dangerous team to go against, especially against an unpredictable team like Detroit that could be anywhere from a five-win to a 10-win team. Easy pass.Survivor Pools are back for 2018, and Week 1 starts Thursday with the Atlanta/Philadelphia season-opening matchup. If you are unfamiliar with this blog, I can fill you in on some of what we will do to help you win your NFL Survivor Pool in the 2018 season. Every week I will provide my Opening Line Report, normally on Tuesdays, as I will look at the lines and give analysis to try and whittle down the matchups to a pool of playable games for Survivor Pools. Also, on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, my colleague, Kyle McCarthy, will post his weekly YouTube video with picks and predictions. Then on Thursdays we will provide our official picks from three former winners.
Weekly in this space I will go down the list of favorites, normally teams that are favored by 3.5 points or more, and give my analysis on what I think of that team as a viable Survivor Pool pick. Week 1 has been incredibly tough to gauge the last couple years with no big favorites on the betting board. But Week 1 in 2018 looks pretty manageable as there are some big spreads all across the NFL betting board. This week there are seven games where the favorite is laying 5.5 or more points. These are the games we will look at this week as we are confident our Week 1 NFL Survivor Pool picks will come from this group of games.Green Bay -8 vs. Chicago: This is one of the biggest rivalries in the NFL. However, it has been one-sided as of late. In fact, Green Bay has won 14 of the last 16 meetings. QB Aaron Rodgers is back under center for the Packers, and he takes this team from a middling squad to a contender with his presence alone. The Bears just made a monster move to sign defensive savant Khalil Mack from Oakland, but they are really lacking talent across the roster and are a year or two away from contending for a playoff spot, especially in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL. Green Bay is probably a solid pick for Week 1. You never know how Rodgers’ health will hold up during the season, and this team will be worthless to Survivor Pool players later in the season if he goes down. So, it may be a good idea to use them while he is healthy early in the season. However, I am just uneasy using a rivalry game in Week 1 as both teams will be fired up to start strong. I will not be using Green Bay for Week 1 but would not argue with anyone who wanted to use them. They are much more talented than the Bears, who have tons of questions across the entire roster. This week I will start with the biggest spreads and run down the list.Making successful NFL Survivor Pool picks early in the season is a treacherous endeavor. There is so much turnover from season to season. While we can normally count on teams like the Patriots and Steelers to win 10 or more games, there is a lot of fluctuation from year to year in the NFL. Each season there is an average of six teams that made the playoffs the previous year that don’t make it back to the postseason. The first six weeks will see many Survivor Pool competitors bounced from their pools. For me the early part of the season is the trickiest time to make winning Survivor Pool picks. Even when I have fewer teams to work with later in the season because of using many of the best teams, at least I have a better feeling about who the good and bad teams are in the NFL by Weeks 7 or 8. I normally find that if I make it past Week 7 or 8 that I can cruise far in the season fairly easily even with limited teams. Knowledge is power when competing in an NFL Survivor Pool.
While this is my “Opening Line Report,” these betting odds have been out ever since the NFL schedules were released a few months ago. They have been available for betting for quite a while, and sharp bettors and team changes have moved the lines from the original released numbers. It’s never a good idea to take these betting numbers as gospel. They should be used only as a guideline. The oddsmakers make their lines according to the betting patterns of their clients instead of as a barometer of the quality of these teams. But the lines are a good starting point with which to base your picks on. Favorites of 10 or more points, of which we have none in Week 1, are normally very solid options. The lower the point spread, the lower that team’s chances to win are. Spreads around 3 historically have been about as reliable for NFL Survivor Pool players as a coin flip.New Orleans -9.5 vs. Tampa Bay: Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston is suspended for the first three games of the season, and journeyman Ryan Fitzpatrick will be the starter until he returns. Tampa Bay was a popular pick for the postseason in 2017, but they had a very disappointing year. This team does have some weapons on offense, however, and some nice talent on defense. I do think that this team was better than they showed on the field last year. However, losing Winston for the first three weeks really hurts, especially with a brutal set of opponents during that stretch. New Orleans is a very solid team with few weaknesses. They won a playoff game last year and played well in their Divisional Round loss to the Vikings. They should again be one of the NFC’s top teams, and they are a very solid option for Week 1 NFL Survivor Pool picks. I am using four cards this season and will likely use the Saints on two of them, if not three.Pittsburgh -5.5 at Cleveland: No thanks; I want no part of this one. This game has several red flags for me. Divisional game. Road favorite. Public line. The Browns should be much, much better than last season, and there is a good chance that they win six or more games. The Steelers are probably a bit overrated as well. Cleveland wants to get off to a strong start after their 0-16 season, and with a much stronger squad they have a chance to be competitive in this home opener.
The first draft for the NFL happened at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Philadelphia. The draft included 90 names, written on a blackboard, and nine rounds. After the scouting era (1946-1959), technology and the digital age entered with broadcast coverage on ESPN. In 1980, TV ratings increased dramatically, and three-day drafts were introduced in 2010.Tetra Images/Getty Images. The following time limits are enforced:The National Football League Draft, also known as the Player Selection Meeting, is an event that meets every year when the NFL selects college football players that are eligible for recruitment. The rationale behind the draft is to create competition between teams in order to pick the best players. The original creation of the draft occurred in 1936 and its methodology remains mostly the same today. However, in earlier years, many players were picked from media and hearsay, and eventually hired scouts.
Representatives attend the draft for every team, and during the draft, at least a singular team is always "on the clock." Before and during the draft, teams are allowed to negotiate players in any round. Teams can also give up their right to pick in a round, in order for them to pick later, which means it's possible for teams to have zero or several choices in a round.Salaries are allotted to each NFL team. Teams with more or earlier picks will have a higher allotted salary. For example, in 2008, the Kansas City Chiefs had 12 picks, which gave them a huge amount of $8.22 million. The lowest was $1.29 million with only five picks for the Cleveland Brown. This is decided by several agreements between the NFL and the National Football League Players Association.Almost all players involved in the NFL draft have participated in college football, however, there are no official rules stating that a player has to attend college. Some players are selected from football leagues like the Arena Football League (AFL) or German Football League (GFL) and a tiny amount of players were drafted from schools that involved them in sports other than football.
Each round of the NFL Draft has a limit of time each team may use to make their selection. If a team fails to make their selection in the allotted time, the team that is scheduled to select next may move ahead of the "tardy" team by turning in their draft pick first. Before the draft, there are several processes in place. First, the NFL Draft Advisory Board gathers to make predictions about the rounds and players. The board includes scouting experts and team executives who have a history of providing guidance on whether players should be drafted or continue to play college football. Following this, there is an NFL Scouting Combine and a Pro Day to test the skills of college football players, create interest, and determine performance.

Jordan met with the Niners on Tuesday and it didn’t take long for a deal to come together. The league has largely discouraged teams from meetings and workouts during the pandemic, so most visits in recent weeks have led to deals.Jordan’s NFL career has taken some odd turns, to say the least. After being selected No. 3 overall by the Dolphins, Jordan did little to justify his pre-draft hype. After some underwhelming seasons, missed seasons, and a number of suspensions, Jordan found his way to the Seahawks in 2017. In 2018, he showed some promise as a rotational piece, and he parlayed that into a one-year deal with the Raiders. Now, instead of moving to Vegas, he’ll stay in California and switch conferences.Jordan, who registered a pair of sacks in seven games last year, will slot behindВ Arik Armstead and Nick BosaВ in SF’s edge rushing corps.Photo courtesy of USA Today Sports Images.

The Carolina Panthers have outright won five of their last six games against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The total has also gone under in five of the last six meetings between these NFC South rivals. The Panthers are 6.5-point home favorites for their Thursday Night Football clash with the Bucs, a game that currently has a total set at 49 points. The New York Giants are 5-1 straight-up over their last six matchups with the Buffalo Bills. The total has gone UNDER in six of the last nine games involving these franchises. The G-Men will try to avoid losing two games in a row to start a season for the sixth time in the last seven years by beating the Bills, who came from a 16-0 deficit to best the New York Jets in Week 1 in a game also played at MetLife Stadium. Buffalo is a two-point road favorite for this contest, which has an over/under of 44 points. The Pittsburgh Steelers have won five of their last six home games against the Seattle Seahawks. The total has gone UNDER in four of the last five bouts between these clubs at Heinz Field. The Steelers were decimated by the New England Patriots on national television this past Sunday evening and need to get back on track with a “W” over the 1-0 Seahawks. The Steelers are favored by four, while the total for this game is going off at 47 points. The Los Angeles Rams are 5-0 against the spread over their last five home games against the New Orleans Saints. These teams are gearing up for a rematch of last year’s NFC Championship tilt, a game that swung on the now infamous non-pass interference call that sent the Rams to the Super Bowl. LA is favored to once again win in the rematch, opening as three-point home chalk.Because of how meaningful of a game this is, and the stature of both parties involved, it’s shaping up to be one of the hardest matchups to predict for not only Week 2, but for the entire 2019 NFL season. Jon Price believes that the wise play is to go with the Saints, who will be hungry for vengeance after coming up just short last year. The league went as far as changing the pass interference rules during the offseason due to the controversial no-call in the NFC Championship, allowing coaches to challenge plays like the one that cost New Orleans a shot at another Super Bowl berth. This is the biggest game of Week 2 for the average football fan, pitting together two of the league’s top teams that both have Super Bowl aspirations to conclude the 2019 NFL season. They both come into this matchup undefeated, but neither had any breathing room in their opening victories. The Rams escaped with a 30-27 road “W” over the Panthers, staving off a fourth quarter comeback attempt to avoid the dreaded Super Bowl loser’s hangover. The Saints were even more fortunate, going down a point with less than a minute to go against the Texans. Future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees was able to lead the offense into field goal range, however, before kicker Will Lutz nailed a game-winning 58-yarder that won both the game and the NFC’s Special Teams Player of the Week award. These outcomes have set up an epic clash early in the season that will serve as a measuring stick to see where each of these budding rivals stands.Last week, bettors finally got a taste last week of some meaningful professional football to wager on for the first time in a long while. Whether you won or lost during the 2019 NFL season openers in Week 1, it’s time to get back on the horse and make your plays for Week 2. There is still a ton of value to be found on the board as both the public and bookmakers race to identify how each team will perform this year. Wise gamblers will take advantage of the discrepancies in how clubs are performing out of the gate versus the perception of how they should play—much of which relies heavily on last year’s showings—that heavily impacts how shops set their betting lines in these early weeks. If you need some advice on where to look for this value, you have come to the right spot.
Los Angeles Rams vs. New Orleans Saints.Week 2 of the 2019 NFL season is coming up quick, starting off with the first true Thursday Night Football game of the year presented by NFL Network. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will travel to take on the Carolina Panthers in an all NFC South showdown for the opening game on the Week 2 schedule, giving fans just a small glimpse at some professional football before an action-packed Sunday. There are 14 contests on tap to cap off the weekend, beginning with a frenzied 10-game flurry of early kickoffs at 1 p.m. ET and settling down in the late afternoon with a trio of matchups that will be headlined by an NFC Championship Game rematch between the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Rams. The Atlanta Falcons vs. Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets vs. Cleveland Browns are the two final primetime games of Week 2, taking place on Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football , respectively, to close out the slate.Oddsmakers like the Rams to move to 2-0 with a win at the Coliseum, installing the squad as a three-point favorite. That line should come as no surprise, as these teams were as evenly matched as you could get during their last bout in the playoffs, with the Rams getting just a slight edge for having homefield advantage for this Week 2 matchup. The Saints were similarly three-point chalk back in January, but were not able to cover at the Superdome in the heartbreaking, 26-23 defeat. The total for that game fell under the total of 49 points, while the over/under for this one is set at 53, the highest total on the board during the Week 2 schedule.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Arizona Cardinals.Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Seattle Seahawks.SB Nation pointed out that fans in the Big Easy haven’t forgotten how their team was wronged by the referees in the playoffs:
Iago Aspas already boasts an 85 OVR card that is available for 6,800 coins on PS4 and 8,400 on Xbox One and his in-form will be around the 89 OVR mark.Former Arsenal left back Kieran Gibbs helped West Brom continue their winning form with his second goal of the season in their 2-0 win over Millwall. The Baggies are now unbeaten in five matches and have climbed up to third as they push for promotion. The win over Millwall also produced West Brom’s first clean sheet in the league this season with Gibbs an integral part of their defence. This week saw some one-sided matches across Europe with the likes of Burnley, Man City, Rangers and Sevilla all dishing out hammerings. Liverpool continued their perfect start to the season with a comfortable 3-0 win over Southampton while Chelsea dropped their first points this campaign against a resolute West Ham side. Celtic fell further behind leaders Hearts after a last-minute defeat to Kilmarnock and Barcelona could only manage a draw against Girona at the Nou Camp.Brazilian striker Wesley was too hot to handle for Gent as the Brazilian striker bagged himself the match ball with a second-half hat trick. The 6’3” forward will be one to watch this season with the Club Brugge striker still just 21 years old. Look out for his Champions League card too on this season’s FIFA Ultimate Team.Walker Zimmerman registered his first goals in the MLS as LAFC beat San Jose Earthquakes 2-0 and remain in the hunt for a play-off place. With just two international appearances since his debut against Jamaica in February 2017, Zimmerman will be hoping to break back in to the USA squad for their upcoming matches.
Ex-Liverpool forward Iago Aspas has flourished since his return to Spain earning himself a national team call-up and he continued his form with two goals in an entertaining 3-3 draw with Real Valladolid. The 31-year-old now has four goals in his first five games this season for Celta Vigo as they see themselves sitting fourth in La Liga.Ilkay Gundogan’s strong start to the season continued as he scored one and assisted one as reigning champions Manchester City routed Cardiff 5-0 in the Welsh capital. Gundogan was influential for the Citizens until he was replaced by Phil Foden, although he was lucky to avoid serious injury following a dangerous tackle from Joe Ralls.28-year-old winger Ibai Gomez scored twice as Alaves thumped Rayo Vallecano away from home. The Spanish winger has scored three in his last two matches helping Alaves climb to third in La Liga after five matches. Gomez will be hoping to better the seven goals he managed last year after an excellent start to this season.Centre back Stuart Findlay was the hero as he scored late on to give Kilmarnock the three points against reigning champions Celtic. Kilmarnock have overtaken Celtic on goal difference after their win and they have Findlay to thank, the 23-year-old scored his first goal of the season and is halfway to his 2017-18 season tally.
The basic 81 OVR card for Sarabia is available for 800 coins on PS4 and 750 on Xbox One whilst his in-form is likely to be boosted from 81 to 86 OVR and see his position changed to the attacking midfield role he adopted against Levante.Gomez’s basic 79 OVR card is worth 750 coins on PS4 and 550 on Xbox One and his in form card will be rated at 84.Lennon should see his OVR boosted to 83, while his basic 77 card is available for 500 coins on PS4 and 600 on Xbox One.Scottish defender Stuart Findlay is available for 200 coins on PS4 and 550 coins on Xbox One for his 66 OVR card, he should see a massive increase from 66 to 75 on his in-form card.Burnley keeper Hart should see an early in-form rating of 84, his basic 78 card is available for 600 coins on PS4 and 700 coins on Xbox One.
To borrow a favorite Mike McCarthy phrase, these Packers are nobody's underdog. Aaron Rodgers played at a locked-in, accurate level last week that should concern 49ers Faithful. He showed a willingness to take shots when they were available and use his legs when necessary. He gives the Packers a decisive edge at quarterback if he plays that well again. And it's worth noting the talent gap between these two teams isn't that large.Around The NFL Editor.6:40 p.m. ET (FOX) | Levi's Stadium (Santa Clara, Calif.)Mecole Hardman, Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins and Damien Williams stretch the field horizontally as much as vertically. They are a track team that could go 50 yards on any play. It usually takes a drop or penalty to stop a Chiefs drive, especially against a team like the Titans that doesn't have much of a pass rush. Vrabel may play it safe on defense like he did in the first meeting -- force the Chiefs to move the ball down the field slowly and hope that Andy Reid botches game management late in the fourth quarter like he did in Nashville.
The problem with that plan is what happens in the first three quarters. Andy Reid is the most influential offensive mind of the last two decades with the greatest collection of talent he's ever coached, including the quarterback with the most ridiculous skill set in NFL history. The Titans' mid-level defense played more snaps last week than any defense played in an NFL game all year. It's the Chiefs' time. There are no right answers to the questions that Patrick Mahomes creates. On two of Travis Kelce's touchdowns last week, the Texans had the perfect play call: six defenders trying to stop two receivers and Mahomes, who finds ways to beat the math. The best Super Bowl matchup on the board remains Chiefs-49ers and that's the matchup we'll get, even if the Levi's Stadium crowd has to sweat this one out.
Tennessee, not unlike the 2018 Patriots, can shapeshift depending on the opponent. And just like in last year's AFC Championship Game, the only route to win in Arrowhead will be via a shootout. The Titans have the weapons capable of winning such a game -- just look at their 35-32 victory over the Chiefs in Week 10 -- but it's a hard path to travel because K.C. has so many ways to beat you.Derrick Henry currently resides in a similarly elevated plane of existence. His 66-yard soul-stealing scamper against the Ravens came on a play where a 260-pound behemoth Matthew Judon, untouched, had a free shot on Henry. He bounced off him like one of those pour souls in a Henry high school mix tape. There are a lot of reasons to believe that the 49ers' blowout victory over the Packers in Week 12 will not be instructive on Sunday, but let's start with the most obvious one: Every game in this league of small margins is dramatically different and unpredictable.

Of course, Trump has very vocally spoken out against NFL players who choose to kneel during “The Star Spangled Banner” to bring attention to social injustice. San Fransisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick began protesting the national anthem in 2016, and many players on other teams have joined him. The President has in the past used players’ protests as a chance to criticize the NFL.“You do realize that another player went #1 overall in the draft, right ahead of Bosa, right?” tweeted user Ed Krassenstein. The President has also been an open fan of the New England Patriots, often singling out owner Robert Kraft, Coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady. Kraft is a frequent guest of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club; during the 2016 campaign, Belichick wrote a letter to Trump praising his leadership; and Trump called Brady a “friend and a total winner” on Twitter.H eisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray was the first overall pick in the NFL draft on Thursday, but on Saturday morning, President Donald Trump decided to congratulate the number two pick instead.A user with the handle @rocodeedee tweeted at Trump, “FYI: The first pick in the NFL draft, Kyler Murray, is the only player drafted in the first round of two major sports (MLB). I think that deserves a congratulatory message, but we all know why he won’t get it from you!”
However, on Twitter the President congratulated Nick Bosa, the second pick, who was chosen by the San Francisco 49ers.The opposite appears to be true as Trump has lashed out at athletes who don’t seem to hold his presidency in high regard. When Steph Curry wavered on visiting the White House after the Golden State Warriors won the NBA championship in 2017, Trump publicly withdrew the invitation. This triggered an angry Twitter response from LeBron James.Murray has also come under fire for writing prejudiced tweets. After the player won the Heisman Trophy, several tweets from 2012 emerged in which he used homophobic slurs. He apologized, writing, “I apologize for the tweets that have come to light tonight from when I was 14 and 15. I used a poor choice of word that doesn’t reflect who I am or what I believe. I did not intend to single out any individual or group.”Bosa has also previously expressed his support for Trump, tweeting that Reagan and Trump were “Goats,” meaning the “greatest of all time.”
Earlier this month, Trump congratulated his occasional golf partner Tiger Woods on winning the Masters. Woods, when asked last summer about his relationship with Trump said, “He’s the President of the United States. You have to respect the office.” Which prompted Trump to attack the media for attempting to get Woods to “say something he didn’t want to say.”Former University of Oklahoma quarterback Murray, who is black, was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals and reportedly offered a $35 million contact. He’s also an accomplished baseball player, and was ninth in the 2018 MLB draft.Trump has often offered praise to athletes who have vocally supported him, and shunned those who have spoken out against his presidency. Many football fans and Twitter users called out the President for praising Bosa over Murray.“Congratulations to Nick Bosa on being picked number two in the NFL Draft,” Trump tweeted. “You will be a great player for years to come, maybe one of the best. Big Talent! San Francisco will embrace you but most importantly, always stay true to yourself. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

What Does This Table Mean?
The above table shows the records for the last 100 MLB computer picks. Confused by the data? Let us explain it for you:
$ of Units Opening/Closing.
This number is the profit (or loss) based on a bettor placing $100 on each of the last 100 MLB picks made by the computer on the opening and closing line. “To Win” represents the win based on straight-up or moneyline bets. “ATS” represents the win based on wagers against the spread. “Total O/U” represents the amount won on OVER or UNDER wagers.
Record Opening/Closing:
Wins are listed first, losses second and pushes or ties third. “To Win” represents the record based on straight-up or moneyline bets. “ATS” represents the record based on wagers against the spread. “Total O/U” represents the record on OVER or UNDER picks.
What Type Of MLB Bets Can You Make?
Below is a list of the most common markets you can bet on for MLB. For further explanations of these options head over to our MLB Betting Guide to help in your understanding.
Moneyline.
Perhaps the most common and easiest wager for a bettor to make. Basically, to win an MLB moneyline pick you are choosing which team will win the game.
Runline.
OVER/UNDER.
Another common wager across all sports is on the total. Across all sportsbooks this bet is available which will set a total number of runs scored in the baseball game and you are choosing whether the final score will have OVER or UNDER that total.
First Five Innings.
The above options, moneyline, runline and OVER/UNDER, can also be placed on the first five innings of a game rather than the full game. Many experienced bettors will use this approach because typically this will take bullpens out of the action and make your job researching the game easier because you can just focus on the starting pitchers. Check out our first five betting report to see how teams perform in this type of wager.
Parlays.
If you like multiple games at your favorite MLB Betting Site, you may consider doing a parlay bet. This type of wager is when you pick two or more games on one single betting ticket which will increase the payout of your bet, but also comes with more risk as each of those plays must win for your ticket to payout. Our parlay calculator is a great tool to find out what your potential payout will be.
Player Props.
If you're unsure of how a game will play out but your favorite team is playing and you want some action on the game you could lay a player prop bet. These types of wagers will be individualized for a player such as: Will Mike Trout hit a home run? Or Will Clayton Kershaw get seven strikeouts? Then you are simply choosing where this outcome will happen or not.
Futures.
Lastly, before the season and even throughout the season you can place a bet on a future outcome. For these bets, you're looking at who will win the World Series, who will be the Cy Young winner or even who will hit the most home runs.

Fantasy Impact.RB Jordan Howard is expected to be the top candidate for the Dolphins goal line work this season, per Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post.It seems like years since Howard has been a force to reckon with in fantasy football, but prior to the 2019 season that was ended with injuries, he'd posted 935 or more rushing yards in each of the previous three seasons. The issue with projecting that moving forward is due to his offensive line play. The Dolphins have what may be the worst line in football, while Howard has only run behind top-10 offensive lines while in Chicago and Philadelphia. Still, if you need a running back who's likely locked into 12-plus touches a week, Howard can fill a role on your fantasy team.Jordan Howard to get the goal line work?Howard and Matt Breida will form a “thunder and lightning” pairing, where Howard offers power and Breida delivers speed, Schad added. The Dolphins will rely on Howard over Breida in goal line situations. Both backs are primed to have decent workloads and could provide solid fantasy value. Howard reportedly is 100 percent recovered from a shoulder stinger that sidelined him for the majority of the second half of 2019. The 25-year-old is currently 32nd among all running backs in the latest expert consensus rankings.

• The Bears traded picks No. 87 and No. 162 and a 2020 fourth-round pick to the Patriots for the 73rd pick. Chicago selected Iowa State running back David Montgomery.• The Packers traded up for the No. 21 overall pick and selected Maryland safety Darnell Savage Jr. Green Bay sent two fourth-round picks to the Seattle Seahawks.• The Raiders traded the 35th, 140th and 235th picks to the Jaguars for the 35th and 109th picks. Jacksonville drafted Florida offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor at No. 35.• The Redskins traded up for the Bills' No. 112 pick, taking Stanford RB Bryce love with the slot.• The Seahawks traded the 30th pick to the Giants. New York took Georgia cornerback Deandre Baker.
• The Patriots traded picks No. 97 and No. 162 to the Rams for the 101st and 133rd pick. Los Angeles selected Oklahoma OT Bobby Evans at 97th. The Patriots selected OL Yodny Cajuste at No. 101.• The Seahawks sent Frank Clark to the Chiefs for a 2019 first-round pick (No. 29) and a 2020 second-round pick in the deal. The two teams exchanged third-round draft picks in the 2019 draft as well, with the Chiefs now having No. 84 overall pick and the Seahawks acquiring the No. 92 overall pick.• The Patriots sent pick No. 64 to the Seahawks for No. 77 and No. 118. Seattle selected Ole Miss WR D.K. Metcalf.• The Eagles traded up to the Ravens' 22nd pick to select Washington State tackle Andre Dillard. The Ravens received the 25th overall pick in addition to a fourth and sixth round pick for this year. The Ravens picked wide receiver Hollywood Brown from Oklahoma.
• The Rams dealt No. 56 to the Chiefs for No. 61 and No. 167. Kansas City selected Georgia WR Mecole Hardman.• The 49ers traded their No. 104 pick to the Bengals, who took NC State quarterback Ryan Finley with the selection. San Francisco got Cincinnati's No. 110 pick as part of the trade. They took Utah punter Mitch Wishnowsky with the pick.• Raiders sent Amari Cooper to the Cowboys in exchange for a 2019 first-round pick (No. 27 overall).• The Giants sent Odell Beckham Jr. to the Browns in exchange for a 2019 first-round pick (No. 17 overall) and the Browns' second third-round pick (No. 95 overall). The Giants also received right guard Kevin Zeitler and safety Jabrill Peppers.
With all of that in mind, below you'll find four potential efficient trades involving high-value selections. These deals would provide the most value for both teams. This means trades that net both teams a higher projected win total, while taking into account who other teams are likely to draft.Yes, trades are a major component of the madness that is draft weekend. And when teams are conjuring up deals, many reference a chart created back in the 1990s by Jimmy Johnson which quantifies the value of each draft slot. Now, obviously, there are market dynamics that influence pick trades (like actually finding a trade partner and agreeing on terms), but that chart provides great context when it comes to understanding more about how a trade is initially valued. Some things, like the exact value of a pick in a future year, can never be fully taken into account because the draft order changes every year. Why it works for the Panthers: For the cost of just seven selections in the first round, they pick up an additional second-rounder. The Panthers have a strong core of starters, so modeling scenarios where they trade up doesn't yield as much value as focusing more attention on the end of the first and second rounds where they could add quality players who wouldn't necessarily be asked to be Day 1 starters. My model projects Carolina would be able to add value in pass defense (corner and pass rush, specifically) and select a Day 1-starting wide receiver with pick Nos. 23, 47 and 55.Buffalo Bills receive: -- 2019 first-round pick (No. 2 overall) -- 2019 sixth-round pick (No. 176)
Why it works for the Texans: The model suggests the Texans optimize for wins if they prioritize an improvement on the offensive line in Round 1. Fortunately, they have two second-rounders (Nos. 54 and 55), so they can afford to use one to move up. The likelihood of my model's two highest-rated offensive linemen (Jawaan Taylor, Jonah Williams) being available is above average, until the Vikings (No. 18) and Seahawks (No. 21) are on the clock. The Jaguars (No. 7) and Broncos (No. 10) pose the greatest risks before No. 16.NOTE: No trades with players and picks packaged together were included in this analysis.Washington Redskins receive: -- 2019 first-round pick (No. -- 2019 fourth-round pick (No. 111)
Why it works for the 49ers: In this scenario, the Niners limit their odds of acquiring one of the premium pass rushers in the 2019 draft, but at ninth overall, they still have the ability to address their pass defense. With quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo returning from injury and the offseason defensive additions of Dee Ford and Kwon Alexander, the 49ers created options for this season and added value for 2020. Should they have a top-10 valuation on a corner (Deandre Baker is a CB my model likes for them), they could pull the trigger at No. 9. However, depending on the quarterback market (for example, do the Giants take a QB at No. 6?), San Francisco could spin this pick into even more draft capital, as the team would now sit one slot ahead of the Broncos, who could be in play for a young signal-caller.Carolina Panthers receive: -- 2019 first-round pick (No. 23) -- 2019 second-round pick (No. 55)
